Dark Skies week Website BannerDevon Dark Skies

Following the success of last years Devon Dark Skies Day, we are expanding this years event across a whole week from the 23rd to the 30th October.

We are encouraging everyone in Devon to take part this year, whether you are a lighting engineer, a dark skies advocate or someone who just switches on the lights in your home. We want you to have the opportunity to think about how your choice of lighting affects yourself, wildlife, tranquillity and dark skies. We hope this week will help us all find the value in reducing artificial lighting and as a county, gain and appreciation and understanding of dark skies. We can all take action take action to enhance Devon’s dark skies.
