Getting out into the natural world is good fun and great for our health. Our Naturally Healthy campaign is about inspiring us all to get outside and enjoy Devon’s amazing natural environment. You don’t have to go far, you don’t have to own a mountain bike, and there are lots of things you can do that are totally free!
May 2017 was Devon and Somerset’s Naturally Healthy Month!
Use #LetNatureNurture to promote what you’re doing for Naturally Healthy Month this May and take a look at the Naturally Healthy month Toolkit to see how else you can get involved.

When did you last…. find time to listen to the birds, sniff a flower, have a picnic in the park, fly a kite or paddle in the sea?
Have you ever…… cycled the Exe Estuary trail, gone wild swimming, canoed down the Grand Western Canal, spotted dragonflies at Stover Country Park or watched bats at dusk?

I have a message via Twitter that there is an Outdoor Learning conference in March 2017 but I can’t see it on this webpage or the DESWG page
Hi Ian,
The Outdoor Learning conference page is on the DESWG page under the 2017 Events. I will also advertise the event on our home page to make it easier for people to get to!
Thank you.
